This one of those product that I contemplated on whether to get or not. Since this toner contained witch hazel I could have just get witch hazel to use as my toner which would have been a fraction of the cost of this clarifying toner – C$32. I get the Kate Somerville Clarifying toner because I recently started to get hormonal acne – painful cystic acne around my jaw area. So I wanted something that can help this. I have read that this toner really does a good job in clearing up adult acne plus it won’t dry up the skin. Also, it has properties that can help with lightening acne scars. Plus It is alcohol and fragrance free.
Kate Somerville Clarifying Toner Review
I’m a strong believer in investing in your skincare routine. This is the most expensive toner I ever purchased. But so far I have no regret in doing so. I would repurchase this product. This toner really helps in preventing and getting rid of the painful pimples. There are days if I eat unhealthily or when I am near to getting my period, I will get one or two breakouts. But the pimples do not pain so much like before. Plus this toner doesn’t over-dry my combination skin. In terms of making my scar less visible, I think it does a slow job in doing that.
Other Important Details About the Clarifying toner
It isn’t a lot of products we’re getting for the price tag that is associated with it. But if you used it with care, it can last for couple months. I like the design of the packaging – I placed the cotton pad on the pump/press and then pushed it down twice so I can get all product that I need on the cotton pad. I used it in the evening after I finish cleansing my face.
