Hi, I’m Shareeza Hussain, a Software Engineer with over 8 years of professional experience in fast-paced startup and emerging-technology environments.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, along with postgraduate credentials in User Experience Design and Enterprise Software Development. Most recently, I earned a Certificate in Data Analytics for Behavioural Insights. This combination of technical, design, and data-focused education enables me to build software that is not only technically sound and scalable, but also user-centred, data-informed, and aligned with real-world product needs.
Much of my career has been spent in startup settings, where I’ve learned to adapt quickly, work across evolving codebases, and ship features under tight timelines. I’ve worked closely with product teams, mentored junior developers, overseen outsourced development teams, and contributed to the development and maintenance of scalable production applications.
I’m currently working as a Full-Stack Developer, building and maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. My role involves developing scalable features across the full technology stack, designing and consuming RESTful APIs, optimizing database performance, implementing automated testing, and resolving complex application issues. I work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, maintainable software that supports critical business operations while following modern development best practices and agile workflows.
