HERBIVORE Pink Cloud Rosewater Moisturizer Review

I am gravitating to becoming a fan of Herbivore skincare. Herbivore really stresses on their clean line of skincare. They contain no synthetic ingredients—no dyes, fragrances, chemical additives, toxins, or synthetic preservatives. My sister is the one who introduced me to this brand. However, their product’s price point is always a hurdle in my way. As someone who is a beauty freak, every day I tend to go to the Sephora website. A section of the website’s landing page that always got my attention is the slideshow that shows their latest products. When I saw the pink cloud cream I was awestruck by the beautiful packaging. Like all the Herbivore products, their packaging is very minimalist but attention-grabbing. I hurriedly clicked on the product.

Lately, my skin really liking rosewater. Another unique but exciting thing about this cream is its label that read ‘Pink Cloud Rosewater’. In my opinion, this gives a new dimension to facial moisturizer. It was entreating to try the pink cloud moisturizer. From the description, I gather this is a light moisturizer that delivers relief for dryness, redness & dullness. The solid reason that sold me to get this product is the fact it does not contain dimethicone.

After researching, I found dimethicone is one of the reasons that caused me to get blackheads. Blackhead is one of my skin’s concerns! I’m on a mission to clean out all the moisturizers in my cupboard that has dimethicone in their ingredient’s list.

HERBIVORE Pink Cloud Rosewater Moisturizer Review

I bought the Herbivore Pink Cloud Rosewater moisturizer for C$60. Many might have concerns about spending so much on cream. But compared to the other products from the brand, I found this one is among the inexpensive products they offer.

I have been using the moisturizer for almost two months now; they found a new fan in me. The product delivered what its tagline stated – a lightweight, natural rosewater moisture cream that melts into the skin creating a bouncy, hydrated, dewy, and smooth canvas. It is indeed very light on the skin but the actual product is thick. As someone who tends to have spot marks sometimes because I am prone to picking my acne, this is the ideal solution for scars. Because of how well it primes my skin for makeup application, I incorporate this product in my morning skincare routine. Since I am using this product I drastically see a difference in the texture of my skin; it’s smoother, soft and my skin is more radiant. Also, whenever I use this moisturizer my pores are less visible. Another plus about this product is its incredible scent.

As someone who has combination skin, the only negativity I saw about this moisturizer is during the days my skin tends to get oily. However, there is nothing a pressed powder or blot papers can’t get rid of. I feel this is one moisturizer I’ll have in my skincare collection for many many years.
