Herbivore skincare is my sister’s holy grail brand. She purchased many of their products. That is how I became aware of the brand. If you haven’t already known, Herbivore is one of those top-notch clean skincare brands.

Occasionally, hormonal acne pop-up 🙁 . I am always sharing my skin problems with my sister. So she did some research and suggested I should try the products that belong to their ‘Balance and Clarify’ range. She even went so far as bought a set that includes the miniature products. The products that are part of this collection include:

• Prism Exfoliating Glow Potion
• Lapis Balancing Oil
• Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner
• Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Facial Mask

Using these products really made a difference in helping my hormonal acne. I wouldn’t say they completely cured my skin problems. But this isn’t due to the products not being excellent but could be due to my unstable diet. However, I am loving the results so far. I am not getting much of those cyst type pimples 🙂 . Plus you can be reassured when using products from this brand you’re not applying any harsh ingredients on your skin.

Anyways, out of all the product from their ‘Balance and Clarifying’ range, my favourite is the Lapis oil and the Green Tea Toner. Because of how good they were I purchased their full-size version. I also got the full-size Blue Tansy Facial Mask too. But this post is dedicated to the Herbivore Lapis Oil.

Herbivore Lapis Oil Review

A lightweight oil that absorbs well into the skin without offering the greasy feeling. You only need like two drops of its formula which is enough for a whole face. This means you can carry a bottle for at least 4 months. Hence, you can now get a sight of relief of not having to pay a hefty amount of C$90 every two months. But trust me the brilliance of the formula compensate for the cost.

This product works wonder in calming and brightening my skin. It not only offers healing protection but promotes intense hydration. Since I’m using this face oil, my pores have drastically got smaller. It doesn’t clog pores. I love how this product wear under make-up. I feel like it encourages a more glowing and youthful face. My face is plumper and softer since I added the Herbivore Lapis Oil into my skincare routine. Add to the mentioned benefits, my post-acne marks are also less noticeable. This blue potion is the oil that every girl with acne skin needs.

I mostly use this face oil twice a day – morning and evening. Some of its main ingredients are Blue Tansy, Plant-Based Squaline, Kukui Oil etc.
