TATCHA Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme Powder Review

If you’re experiencing congested skin, you should give the Tatcha Rice Polish Foaming Enzyme powder a shot. This might be what your skin needs in order for a clearer and clean face.

I have been using this for almost two months now. Long story short, I have exceptional things to say about this Rice Polish. I have been eyeing this product for a pretty long time. But the heavy price tag pushes me away :(. But I made up enough Sephora Points and I was able to trade it for $100 cash credit. That is what I used to purchase the Tatcha Rice Polish. I got the ‘Gentle Type’. I feel the ‘Gentle’ might be more suitable for my winter skin. Usually, during the winter, my skin is dehydrated. Also, by incorporating more hormonal-acne fighter products in my skin routine, my skin is becoming more sensitive. Too much of strong products can potentially irritate my skin which is what I am trying to eliminate.

Anyways, every time my skin is looking dull and unhealthy, I lather this exfoliate onto wet skin. After washing off the product with warm water, brighter and softer skin is revealed. I used this product at least twice a week. Since I’m using the exfoliator, fewer blackheads and acne pop-up. My pores shrink tremendously. I feel over time, my acne scars are diminishing. Another plus, I sometimes used it to help with itchy skin.

By incorporating clean skincare in my routing like this one allows me to be more confident in my skin. If my skin is having a good day, I feel I am carrying a more youthful appearance.

Most time you found great products are formulated with nice ingredients, same here. The Tatcha Rice Polish contains rice bran, rice and papaya enzymes, pearls etc. But what I appreciate is that you may expect an exfoliator might trigger dry skin. The ‘Gentle Type’ contain Licorice root which helps to combat that.

Fun Fact

Asians had been using rice water for centuries to keep their skin looking young. Some reported that it can naturally soothe skin inflammation and other skin problems.

If you don’t want to invest in the C$80 Tatcha Rice powder, next time you boil rice, don’t throw away the water. But wash your face with it 😉

I hope you enjoy my post. Thank you for reading 🙂
