Plaidspiration – Draped in Plaid Skirt

Plaidspiration

Clothing that is fabricated with plaid textiles seems like a reincarnation of the school uniform. It’s a style of the past that never seemed non-existent. Every time it reappears, the design keeps getting stronger. In 2018, plaid is definitely a dominating print for the autumn. I love that there are different awesome styles to choose from. There are pants, skirts, blazers, shirts and dresses. Glen Plaid is one of the types I hardly stumble upon but it is back this time.

Rocking anything plaid will make you look effortlessly chic. This pattern is definitely a versatile one. You can go raise the bar by pairing a plaid piece with bold-block colours or with other prints. If not feeling that type of look, you can always carry it with neutral shades. There is really no need to just only dig the clashing print style, you can alternate to a whole matching plaid attire. However, if you choose to dress up plaid, I can reassure you that you won’t be disappointed.

Plaid All the WAY!!!

How much I am loving this trend this season; my eyes popped out when I come across a plaid bit. If you’re following me on Instagram you already saw me posting plaid outfits. Please follow me if you’re not :), my username is @yneedthis. For this post,ย  I ransacked my closet and I came across an old glen plaid skirt that I snatched in a Zara Year-end sale. I styled this skirt by wearing it with the layered-style sweater. I choose this knitwear because I like how the two shades created a colour block effect that worked perfectly against the printed bottom. In my opinion, the look is very elegant and yet comfortable. I felt like the women in the 70’s sitcoms. Don’t want to stray away from the topic but don’t you agree that 70’s fashion is an absolute gem?
