Hello January, the most important month of the year for me. It’s the starting of a new chapter but also my birthday month. Ridiculous as it sounds, even though I am getting older, my birthday still excites me. I like to wake up in the morning on my birthday to receive my wishes, gifts, smiles, hugs, kisses and yummy birthday breakfast. In my home, whenever it’s someone’s birthday we make a big deal about it. Lol. This year my birthday was no exception.

Birthday Celebration

Yesterday, I celebrated my 28th birthday. I had such an amazing time with my family. My mum cooked my favourite food – fried rice. I am so grateful to have such loving and caring parents and sister. They always ensure that every special moment of my life is filled with extreme merriment. I can still remember the excitements and laughter we had yesterday during the cake cutting. We didn’t have the number eight candle, so my mum and sister DIY the letter 8 for me. lol. That was so sweet but clever.  PS – is my mum’s big idea 🙂 Love you, mum!

Birthday Gifts

I like watching Youtube videos where people are showing what they got for their birthday. Since I like those kind videos, why not do a blog post on what I got for my birthday especially, how I am in love with all the gifts I received this year.  I will list my gifts below and also share links if I can find where you can shop for these items if it fancies you 🙂 🙂 🙂

• The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment  – I always wanted to try this tinted lip balm so I was so thrilled to receive this as a gift. Now how it’s winter, my lip cracked more than ever. This lip balm came the right time. I already tried it. So far I’m highly impressed plus  I loves the shade – ‘Sugar Poppy’.
• A knee-high boot by Lucky Brand – I asked for this gift. I really wanted a pair of knee-high boots because I’m fond of the midi skirt and boots trend. Last month when all the Christmas deals were happening, I spotted a pair of Lucky Brand Ritten Wide Calf Suede Black Knee-High boots on Amazon.com for a great deal and simply just fell in love. Plus, previously I used to take a peak of the Lucky Brand shoe collections.
• Coach Bag – I never owned anything from Coach before. On many occasions, I was always tempted to get a bag from Coach. So when I received this, I was smiling through my teeth. It’s so pretty.  Plus the way how Coach package this item made receiving this present more special. I was happy it’s a crossbody bag with beautiful flowers on it. So cute! This is my new Favorite bag :). Getting this makes me strike off a ‘handbag brand to purchase from’ off my wishlist. I got the coach Messenger Crossbody With Cross-stitch floral print.
• Clothing pieces – I got a top and skirt by forever21. This was my gift to me. I wore this outfit on my birthday. I really admire how the two combinations look.
