This Black Friday, I didn’t go crazy even though some awesome deals were happening. I buy what I needed. I am happy with most of the items I purchased! I didn’t regret getting them! Even though most of the deals were happening in the stores, I chose to stay home and shop in the comfort of my cosy home :). I am always excited about year-end sales. In my opinion, I feel like people don’t need to go crazy on Black Friday. There are so many sales happening like Cyber Monday, Boxing day and many more. Every day I check my emails, I had gotten some awesome deals from my inbox. December is one of my favourite months. However, I’m certain that my bank account doesn’t like this month. I am sure you are very excited to know what steals I grabbed. So let’s get down to business 🙂

My Black Friday Haul

A sweater (Flared top by Style and Co)

We know sweaters with statement sleeves is the latest trend. Hence, I was looking for a sweater that has flared sleeves. But I didn’t want to get one that I would have to eventually get rid of after the trend wore off. I wanted one that will be a staple in my wardrobe. This sweater by Style and Co. was the answer to my wish. When I saw it, I immediately fell in love with the style. The designer didn’t go overboard with the flare on the sleeve. Plus I like the peplum design. In terms of fitting, this sweater wore very flatteringly. It is a very soft sweater that keeps you warm. I do not like a bulky sweater. What makes this whole purchase a great deal, is that I got this sweater for half price 🙂 :). If you are interested in this catch, this sweater is still on sale.

Old Navy Boyfriend Straight Two-tone Jeans

I never owned a boyfriend jeans before. I always wanted one. Currently, I am losing interest in tight skinny jeans. I am more into comfort pieces. That is why I prefer pants rather than jeans. Unfortunately, the weather now does not give me the chance to sport soft pants. I need something more heavy duty. Old Navy was having their Pre Black Friday deals (40%), so if I am ever going to splurge on $44.94 jeans, now is the time. Plus, I like Old Navy jeans; very good quality. So far, I like this style of jeans. I could have sized down but I love the loosely fitted styles. The boyfriend-jeans is very comfortable. I’ll definitely be getting some more boyfriend jeans.

Zara Long Textured Dress

We know Zara doesn’t get many sales. So this was one of the first shopping websites I visited during Black Friday. Again a lot of cool things, but I only got a dress. I am 5 feets 2 inches and this dress hit little before my ankle. However, I found this style very unique and look like something anyone can carry. This definitely is a piece I am sure I will make use a lot of. It is sold for C$25.90, I got it for C$18.10.

Aldo Leather Gloves

My last purchase, another Pre Black Friday item. Aldo had some great deals happening before and on Black Friday Day. I was on the hunts for a nice pair of leather gloves. When I saw this Aldo Leather Gloves, it was love at first sight. However, not every love story ends up like Noah and Allie (characters from Notebook). I didn’t like it. The design is not practical.  From the product description on the website, my impression was it would be a nice pair of gloves to keep my hands warm during the winter. It does keep my hand warm but only the part that got cover. Why would they make a winter glove that had a tie design? Unless it isn’t a winter glove and I was mislead by the description of the product.
